Help bring fresh, locally grown food to New Jersey families this holiday season.

As Thanksgiving approaches, New Jersey farmers are wrapping up another busy harvest season. Across the state, fields are still full of fresh produce, volunteers are hard at work, and Farmers Against Hunger is helping get that food into the hands of neighbors who need it most.

But for many New Jersey families, putting fresh, nutritious food on the table remains a challenge. Today, nearly 1 in 9 New Jerseyans experience food insecurity, and the need for fresh, healthy food continues throughout our communities.

This Thanksgiving, you can help make a difference.

For 30 years, Farmers Against Hunger, a program of the New Jersey Agricultural Society, has worked alongside local farmers, volunteers, and hunger relief organizations to rescue surplus produce and deliver it to communities across the state.

Through gleaning, food donations, and purchasing produce directly from New Jersey growers, we help ensure that good, locally grown food reaches the people who need it most.

And as we enter the final stretch of the growing season, there’s still so much we can accomplish together!

🌾 From Farm Fields to Thanksgiving Tables

Last Thanksgiving, Farmers Against Hunger and our incredible volunteers packed over 5,000 bags of fresh, locally grown produce for New Jersey families through our network of community partners!

This year, we’re coming together once again to share the harvest with neighbors in need. After a particularly challenging growing season for many New Jersey farmers, your support is more important than ever.

Your donation helps us purchase additional produce, fill more bags, and deliver nutritious food to families throughout New Jersey.

🚜 Supporting the Farmers Who Feed New Jersey

When you give to Farmers Against Hunger, you’re doing more than helping feed families. You’re also supporting the local farmers who make our work possible.

Harvest season may be coming to an end, but farm expenses don’t stop there. By purchasing produce directly from New Jersey growers, we help provide an additional source of income for local farms while expanding access to fresh, healthy food.

Your gift strengthens New Jersey agriculture while helping fight hunger in our communities.

🍎 30 Years of Making a Difference

With the support of our farmers, volunteers, donors, and community partners over the past year, Farmers Against Hunger has helped:

🍅 Rescue and distribute more than 1.6 million pounds of fresh produce
🌱 Engage over 1,000 volunteers in our fields and communities
🚜 Partner with more than 65 New Jersey farms
🤝 Support over 85 hunger relief organizations statewide
🧺 Reach more than 12,000 New Jersey residents every week

Every pound of produce rescued, every bag filled, and every delivery made is possible because of people like you.
