Broadway Goes Pop!
Each week, students will explore scenes and songs from hit musicals that fuse pop music with powerful storytelling—think Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Six, Shrek, and Waitress. We’ll dive into vocal technique, pop-style choreography, and character-driven performance, all set to music that today’s teens love.
Whether you're new to the stage or looking to level up your skills, this class builds confidence, stage presence, and a strong performance foundation in a fun, creative environment.
Villains of Musicals: Taught By Ethan Harmon
Not all stars wear capes—some wear cloaks. In Villains of Musicals, students step into the roles of Broadway’s most iconic baddies to discover what makes a great villain so unforgettable. From the dramatic flair of Scar in The Lion King to the misunderstood motives of Elphaba in Wicked, this class explores complex characters and powerful solos. Through acting, vocal performance, and character work, they'll learn how villains bring depth, drama, and sometimes even laughter to the stage.
This class is perfect for performers who love strong characters, emotional expression, and making bold choices. Whether they're playing the misunderstood antihero or the over-the-top diva, students will sharpen their performance skills while having a wicked good time.
