Nestled in the heart of Western North Carolina, our family-run wildlife sanctuary is one of the only licensed fawn rehabilitation centers in the region. Each year, we provide life-saving care to over 100 orphaned or injured fawns, alongside grey squirrels, turtles, tortoises, opossums, groundhogs, rabbits, and more.

We are also home to over 50 permanent residents—animals who cannot return to the wild due to injury or disability. They live out their lives safely with us, receiving the love and care they deserve.

We operate with 0 paid staff. Every hour, every rescue, every bottle fed and wound cleaned—is done by our family, and dedicated volunteers, from our hearts and often from our own pockets.

Another vital part of our mission is education—teaching the youngest minds to the oldest how to coexist with wildlife, recognize when animals truly need help, and prevent the unnecessary removal of wild creatures from their natural environments.

But to continue this mission in 2025, we urgently need your help. Rising costs for food, medical care, enclosures, and supplies have made it impossible to keep going without support.

For the fawns in our care, it costs $275 a week for milk replacement alone. This doesn't include: medical bills, housing, hay, bedding, other food, baby wipes, cleaning materials, etc.

As construction, deforestation, and human expansion continue to shrink natural habitats, more and more wild animals are left injured, orphaned, or without a place to call home—making sanctuaries like ours not just important, but essential.
