Thank you for registering for our Ape-ology Workshop! We’re excited to have you join us and can’t wait to see you.

You will receive a follow-up email with all the event and workshop details, including what to expect and any important information to help make your visit a memorable one, the week-of your workshop. In the meantime, below is some additional information pertaining to your visit.

This event includes an on-grounds, sanctuary component that will last approximately 1 hour. Guests will be walking and standing on uneven shell-rock paths in the Florida sun. Please dress comfortably for the Florida elements (bugs, sun, rain). You may bring bottled water on your tour, but we request that no other drinks (soda, Gatorade, etc.) or snacks be brought along. You will end your visit with a brief stop in our Great Ape Gift Shop, if you choose.

1. During cold and flu season, masks are not required to be worn during the event. However, if any member in your group is experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms in the 2-weeks prior to your workshop date, they'll be asked to wear a mask. If anyone is experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms the day of your workshop, please let us know that you need to cancel your reservation. This is for the continued safety of our animals and staff.

2. There is NO touching of the orangutans or chimpanzees during your tour.

3. Please reach out directly if you need directions to our main office, VAN SIMMONS RD, address.

4. This event may be cancelled at any time due to weather or for animal safety and well-being.

5. There is NO SMOKING or VAPING while on Center for Great Apes property.

6. If you are no longer able to attend this event, you can apply your donation to a Center for Great Apes year-long membership OR your donation will be considered a tax-deductible gift to the sanctuary.
