The Friends of the Highlanders is a non-for-profit charitable foundation that supports emergency management and disaster response teams who help citizens of the great state of South Carolina, during natural and man-made disasters.

Your donation will equip the task forces to communicate and serve all over the state of South Carolina by being “eyes on the ground” as well as "boots on the ground" when catastrophic events occur such as forest fires, ice-storms, hurricanes and tornadoes. During disasters, task forces will provide vital intel back to SC Emergency Operation Center in Columbia, and assist other agencies like first responders, law enforcement and/or emergency management departments in smaller communities that do not have the same resources as larger counties.
