Your Annual Giving Gift Helps

Located in Anacortes, Washington, Fiddlehead Montessori provides an authentic Montessori program in which each child’s natural love of life and learning is cultivated. From its humble beginnings in 2016, Fiddlehead Montessori has expanded from 12 students to 48 students in just 6 years! We couldn’t have accomplished this incredible growth without the enormous generosity and support of our local community and beyond.

As a non-profit, Fiddlehead Montessori must raise funds through donations, fundraising and grants to offset expenses not covered by tuition. Your tax-deductible gift immediately benefits each student by providing resources for our scholarship fund, art and outdoor nature programs, campus infrastructure and assists in continuing the high standards of our Montessori education. Please give generously knowing your donation goes far in providing access to quality Montessori education in the Skagit Valley from early learning childcare through elementary school.

Our school needs your participation to reach our ambitious goal of $25,000 (or more) by October 31st. Our total goal for the year with the aid of grants and fundraisers is $75,000. This pledge drive will go far to make our wish list a reality and strengthen Fiddlehead Montessori’s first rate educational experience! Barrett Financial’s Community Caring Project will match any donation of $500 or more up to a total of $10,000!

Wish List:

Our $15,000 scholarship program provides support for families in need with the opportunity to learn in a Montessori setting, while enriching our school with diversity across Skagit Valley.

$10,000 supports our Monthly Extracurricular Classes:

Fine Art Classes: A local artist partners with our students on clever art projects that spark the students’ imagination and creative thinking skills.

Foreign Language Classes: Will provide all students with access to learn another language; teaching them about culture and diversity.

Wilderness Classes: Every other Friday students explore and engage in the wonders of the outdoors while fostering a curiosity of nature, science and stewardship of the planet.

Administration Office Building: Will provide the much needed support for our administration and staff as our campus continues to grow.

Covered Outdoor Area For Our Early Childhood Students: We strive to provide these students with a nature curriculum that matches their age group.
