LETTER FROM ROGER

Designed by WSA Soccer partner, Szafranksi Landscape Architecture, revealed at WSA's 30-year Legacy Night celebration in 2023, the Field of Dreams is ready to launch.

THERE IS ONE STEP REQUIRED TO MOVE THE FACILITY TO "BUILDABLE". We think our alumni, former players, parents, staff, can help us achieve this.

This grassroots fundraiser, will raise the funds which will cover the preliminary site work (Civil, Environmental, Geotech) at the current West Bank Sports Complex, allowing us to begin the first phase of construction (see below).

We "WILL" build the facility in time for the 2026 World Cup that will be hosted in the U.S. allowing an opportunity to engage various National Teams in transit between Houston & Arlington and Kansas City.

We will leverage Your Gift into a mullti-million dollar facility at the current West Bank Sports Complex, impacting generations to come. This is our Time. This is our Legacy.

THE FOUNDERS WALL at the FIELD of DREAMS - BECOME PART OF AN EXTENDED LEGACY OF THE CLUB

WSA Alumni and Friends are invited to help launch a capital campaign for a state-of-the-art, world class facility, to be constructed at WSA's current West Bank Sports Complex, Field of Dreams 21.

Each donor of $500+ will be recognized on the FOUNDERS WALL at the entrance to the facility.

The facility will include all of the best technology, materials, and construction. Tencate and Tulsa River Parks Authority have partnered with WSA Soccer for this Legacy project. The entire budget includes an endowment to cover the deferred maintenance costs for 50+ years. The playing surfaces, lights, and amenities are the "best of the best". The synthetic turf surfaces have been tested, and approved, by Liverpool FC professional players.

Your NAME will appear at the entrance of this facility, for 50+ years! The facility will be a signal of years of a community's work, effort, and sacrifice, that you were a part of. A building that signals poignant reminders that work matters, service is important to our humanity, and building community is a calling placed upon us.

FIELD OF DREAMS 21 LAUNCH PHASE - $350,000 - WHAT YOU ARE HELPING WITH TODAY?

There is a currently committed amount of over $15MM towards the fields and trail reconstruction of the project. To launch the project into Phase I construction, turning over construction to TENCATE, the following launch phase initiatives are required:

Civil, Environmental, Geotech, Permitting. These steps will cost an approximate $350,000. We are currently making a grassroots effort to raise these funds.

FIELD OF DREAMS 21 - THE PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Field of Dreams is a proposed full rennovation and development of the West Bank Sports Complex property located at 36th and Elwood on the West Bank of the Arkansas River, 1 mile due south of The Gathering Place. This facility has been a training hub for WSA Soccer since 2012. WSA is currently in a 20-year lease with River Parks Authority for the West Bank Sports Complex property, with a promise to extend the lease to longer terms once the project is initiated.

The 36 acre facility design, designed by Szafranski Architecture & Landscape, will feature 11 full sized, synthetic turf fields, 7 Futsal/Multi Sport courts, a food court, shade structures throughout, state of the art lighting, modernized bathroom and parking amenities, playgrounds, and more. The facility will be home to multiple sports. Endorsed by Tulsa's RiverParks Authority, the West Bank Sports Complex, Field of Dreams Vision, includes an endowment for long term and deferred maintance, and feasibility studies for usability, ingress/egress, and safety.

The "21" in the Field of Dreams namesake, is in reference to a desire to build a facility that endures through the turn of the Century, 2100. Several other features include access to fishing along the Arkansas River, Bike Racks for cyclists, meeting rooms, a wall-to-wall turf area large enough to host a cricket game, and flexible enough to host as many as 10 Ultimate Frisbee fields.

Phase I: Underground work, permitting, Demolition on West side of facility, Hardscaping to prep parking lot - $2MM
Phase II: North end field prep, 5 fields - $14MM
Phase III: South end field prep, 6 fields - $15MM
Phase IV: Complete Parking Lot, Spine Plaza (shade, food, playgrounds) $9.9MM
Phase V: NE Corner, 7 Futsal/Multi-Sport Courts, Maint Building - $2MM

WSA SOCCER - WHO WE ARE

WSA Soccer, founded in 1992, is a 501C3 Non Profit, public charity. The organization has been purposed by vision and mission. For 3 decades the organization has become competent in fulfilling a vision.

Provide and bring access to the sport of soccer, at a premiere and first class level, to youth players of all backgrounds, bridging known deterrents of finances, language, culture, and geography.

Purpose teaching through a developmental model that encourages failure towards success, rewards ambitions, fosters service to others, and requires perseverance.

Cultivate and attract coaches who teach to inspire youth, coach to develop youth, and lead to serve youth.
