For ages 11-14. Unlock your creativity in our 8-week filmmaking class with Film Director and Cinematographer Digital Avnue! Dive into storytelling, scriptwriting, camera techniques, and editing as you bring your ideas to life on screen. Perfect for aspiring young filmmakers eager to learn the art of cinema!
In 8 weeks we will learn:
Week 1: Introduction to Filmmaking
Week 2: Storytelling and Scriptwriting
Week 3: Pre-Production Planning
Week 4: Camera Basics
Week 5: Lighting and Sound
Week 6: Directing and Acting
Week 7: Editing and Post-Production
Week 8: Final Project and Presentation
Join Digital Avnue's film class for kids and learn the art of filmmaking! Work with a team that has filmed celebrities like Floyd Mayweather, Ice Spice, and Chris Brown. Get hands-on experience in directing, shooting, and editing—just like the pros on BET!
Students will need one of the following: and iPhone 11 Pro and up or Android 2022 and up, iPad 10th generation and up, Mac Book M2 and up.
We will also be using the following apps: iMovie Maker, Cap Cut, Final Cut Pro and Canva.
Zoom link will be emailed 5 days and 2 days before the class begins. Please check your emails frequently as new information may be sent out to families throughout the weeks before and during the duration of the program.
