The Phoenixville Firebird Festival is one of the Philadelphia Region's most unique and anticipated events. To help cover costs of this event, we are raffling a beautiful handmade electric guitar by local artisan and musician Edward T. Hawley of Hawley Jersey Guitars. This exquisite one-of-a-kind instrument is truly something to behold. Take part in the Firebird Guitar Raffle for a chance to win this amazing work of art. The drawing will take place in late November. We will announce the winner at the Firebird Festival before the burn!
Story
Edward T. Hawley of Hawley Jersey Guitars is a local artisan and musician who creates beautiful handcrafted guitars. Edward spends months perfecting the Firebird guitar and we are lucky that this is his second custom creation for the Firebird Festival. His first Firebird guitar was built in 2019.
This year for the Firebird Festival's 20th anniversary, Ed has crafted this one-of-a-kind piece of art that is sure to make beautiful music for a lifetime. Every detail is exquisite—his signature homage to his home state at the top of the guitar neck to the engraving on the back commemorating this special year.
The drawing will take place in late November before the Festival. We will announce the winner during the Firebird Festival before we light the bird!
The Firebird Festival celebrates arts, our culture, the ephemeral nature of life, and rebirth. Thousands of people come out to support the festival, which fosters a collaboration between local artistic talent and the cultural life in Phoenixville. The festival features regionally acclaimed performers, craft and food vendors.
