About the Layers of Dignity Fitness Benefit:

Bring your friends and family to have a fun time while serving your community! Suggested donation fee will be at the door and merchandise will be sold. In addition to exercise, we will also be hosting trivia (with prizes) and free food!

About the Cause:

Did you know that when sexual assault survivors go to the hospital, they are only provided a stiff paper gown? Layers of Dignity is trying to change that. Every $25 you donate to Layers of Dignity will go towards giving a brave sexual assault survivor a tote bag with clothes, toiletries, and a hand written note, letting them know that they are not alone in their journey. This fundraiser is supported by General Services Foundation, mobilizing high schoolers by providing them with guidance and monetary support to execute fundraisers, drives, and events for nonprofits they are passionate about in their local and global communities.

About the Sponsors:

Corri Faquin (Instagram: @corrifaquin) will be hosting the fitness and trivia portion of the event. Corri is a personal trainer and fitness instructor/coach at Camp Gladiator. She is a specialist in strength and conditioning. Her exercise program will cause you to break a sweat, but is for all levels of fitness!
Designed for Joy is a 501c3 nonprofit in Raleigh dedicated to supporting women in crisis by providing employment and support for those in need. They have kindly offered their space for this event.
