With Love From Duxbury Day | Flags of Love Project

The Heard Foundation is proud to introduce The Flags of Love Project—a new initiative launching as part of With Love From Duxbury Day 2026.

At the heart of this project is a piece of art created by Cora Clancy herself. The rainbow hearts featured on each flag originate from Cora’s original coloring—preserved just as she made it, childlike, joyful, and full of love.

On January 24, homes, schools, boats, and local businesses across Duxbury—and far beyond—will fly these flags in a shared expression of love, unity, and remembrance. As they move in the winter air, the flags become quiet yet powerful symbols of connection: honoring Cora, Dawson, and Callan, holding space for families impacted by grief and mental-health challenges, and reminding one another that no one is alone.

Together, these flags will transform our community into a visible tapestry of compassion and care—proof that love, especially a child’s love, can continue to lead, comfort, and connect long after it is first shared.
