Fleur + Forage Free Clinic at Mercy Community Church 2024

We are throwing a fundraiser on March 21st to celebrate the change in season but also to raise funds for the various chapters of the Fleur + Forage Free Clinic. In the last 6 months, the F+F Free Clinic has seen a lot of growth in its outreach and it is continuing this year with a new location opening in Athens, Ga (on March 27th).

A little bit about the work that we do:

The Fleur + Forage Free Clinic provides free herbal remedies to people who experience homelessness at three main locations in Atlanta: Mercy Community Church, the Friendship Center and at the "Toesday" event hosted by Church of the Common Ground. Occasionally, we are also invited to set-up at other events (such as the Lazarus Health Day on September 15th, 2024) or make herbal care packages for communities (such as attendees of Nourish the Movement). During our main set-ups we bring the Fleur + Forage Apothebox which holds all our herbal remedies, 95% are made by the apprentices and myself on Thursdays. Other practitioners are also invited to join us, such as acupuncturists, chair massage therapists and Reiki practitioners. We often set up with the Harriet Tubman Foot Clinic and provide them with herbal remedies to support feet health. Fleur + Forage Apothebox

Marie-Lies trained under Herbalista for 4 years before she started her own free herbal clinic. Her passion for connecting people who experience homelessness and herbal remedies flourished during those four years. Her free clinic model is inspired by the Herbalista Free Clinic.
