We are a collaboration of Black Homeschool Group leaders and supporters working together to provide opportunities, ensure access, and secure resources that empower Black families as home educators. Our first endeavor is the 2023 Black Family Homeschool Conference.

The Flourish: 2023 Black Family Homeschool Conference will highlight academic offerings, extra-curricular activities, and family support services. This hybrid event hosted on the Whova app promises to be an amazing showcase of educational diversity.

The pandemic forced 9 million students home for remote education. According to the 2019 Census, Black families were 3.3% of the homeschooling population, and by the fall of 2020, the population had increased to 16.1%. Now, Black families are the fastest-growing homeschool population in the United States. Thus, our homeschool community is "flourishing."

We believe, according to Psalm 1:3, that the family planted in the Word of God will flourish.
