Flower Power: Spreading Smiles, One Bouquet at a Time

We believe that flowers have power. They’re the universal love language, whether it’s a new baby, a birthday, an anniversary, illness, or loss, flowers bring comfort, connection, and smiles. At Flower Power, we take blooms that would have been discarded and give them a second life, turning them into bouquets for people who need a little extra love.

Since July 2025, Flower Power has been picking up flowers from local florists, grocery stores, and funeral homes and delivering them to seniors in assisted living and memory care facilities, hospital patients/staff, and others in our community. 

We currently receive weekly flower donations, including a wonderful partnership with Trader Joe’s, who has offered to donate daily if we can expand our operations. To grow, we need help funding a part-time driver and other essential supplies.

We’re raising $20,000 to keep our mission blooming! Your support will help us:

• Purchase vases, buckets, and floral supplies.

• Cover gas and delivery costs to reach more recipients.

• Hire a part time delivery driver.

• Invest in a flower refrigerator to keep rescued flowers fresh for longer and reduce waste.

• A website, business cards, stickers and social media marketing budget to raise awareness and grow our community impact.
