The Hayward Library belongs to all of us. We help it do more.

Friends of the Hayward Library is an all-volunteer nonprofit that supports the Hayward Public Library system. We fund the programs, materials, and events that a public budget alone can't cover.

We're neighbors who believe a strong library makes a stronger city. Through book sales, donations, and volunteer hours, we help the library reach further: more books on the shelves, more programs for kids and families, more reasons for people to walk through the door.

Every dollar you give stays in Hayward.

Your gift funds library programming directly. There's no paid staff between your donation and the shelf. We're volunteers, so what you give goes to work.
