Following Through on Kiambiu
Raising $5,000 to support high-urgency legal matters identified during our March 2026 clinic in Kiambiu.
At our recent legal aid clinic in Kiambiu, Justice Pamoja worked with local advocates and law students to meet with members of the community and provide guidance on their legal options.
We identified a number of high-urgency cases requiring immediate follow-up—primarily involving domestic violence, sexual assault, and threats to personal safety.
We must ensure that these matters do not stall.
What we’re raising
We are seeking to raise $5,000 to:
Support the highest-urgency cases identified at Kiambiu
Cover essential costs such as transport, court filings, and case coordination
Provide a stipend to the Kenyan lawyers and law students on the days they attend court for Justice Pamoja clients
Justice Pamoja's legal work itself is provided pro bono by Advocates of the High Court of Kenya and Justice Pamoja student lawyers. Your support ensures that practical barriers do not prevent these cases from moving forward.
Matching gifts
A group of early supporters has committed to match every gift, dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500.
That means your contribution today will have twice the impact.
What happens if we exceed the goal
If we raise more than $5,000, additional funds will allow us to:
Support lower-risk but still critical cases, such as child support matters
Assist families facing eviction-related instability
Expand access to legal services at future clinics
Justice Pamoja exists to ensure that access to justice is not determined by cost, distance, or circumstance.
We’ve identified urgent cases and built strong partnerships. Now we need to follow through.
