The Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc. is an all-volunteer, community-based non-profit established in August 2015. We are a 501(c)3 public charity recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS.

Our mission is to promote awareness of and to support the activities of the town owned Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter. We also create and deliver our own programs furthering the well-being and safety of homeless pets, as well as sick and injured animals in the community of Marshfield, MA and other nearby towns. We support the shelter, a no-kill facility, by supplementing town funding for food, supplies and veterinary care. We provide training, socialization, daily care and adoption services for shelter residents.

Our programs aim to end pet overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter services available through us or other partner organizations. We also assist struggling pet owners with prescription food and/or veterinary care to prevent pet surrender or abandonment.
