For Meah Foundation
#16, Meah Sandoval, was one of a kind. On and off the field, she showed an inspiring level of dedication, passion, and love to the game of soccer, her teammates, and her family.
Meah was a young girl full of love, laughter, and life. Her story ended far too soon, leaving her dreams and goals unfinished. She dreamed of becoming a professional women’s soccer player. Although she may never step onto the field again in body, we know she is still with us in spirit on the field, on the sidelines cheering us on, and in our hearts, fueling our shared love for the game.
The ForMeah Foundation was created to support young, talented soccer players and help them reach higher levels of play without financial barriers standing in their way. This scholarship foundation honors Meah by giving other young athletes those who share her talent, drive, dedication, and love for soccer the opportunity to step onto the field in her honor, in her memory, and to play ForMeah.
In a letter Meah wrote, found after her passing, she shared something deeply personal: soccer was her therapy. It was the place where the noise quieted, where the weight of the world lifted, and where she felt most like herself. It was the one thing she said she could not live without.
That truth stays with us. It reminds us that soccer was never just a game to Meah it was her refuge, her healing, and her joy. It was where her heart felt safe and where her spirit came alive.
As we remember Meah, we invite you to help us carry forward what mattered most to her. By supporting the ForMeah Foundation, you are helping ensure that other young athletes never have to give up the very thing that brings them hope, strength, and healing. Together, we can keep Meah’s legacy alive on the field, in every young heart she inspires, and in every dream that continues ForMeah.
