Often, kids come into a foster home feeling out of place and lonely. Creating new memories as a family can help children begin to feel safe and heal from trauma they've experienced. Studies show strong evidence that connection fosters healing.

Connection Collection drive

Host a drive with friends, family, or an organization by collecting items that foster family connection.

Gift cards to your family's favorite restaurant, Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.
Family memberships or tickets to museum, aquarium, fun center, theatre, amusement park, etc.
Family friendly games or activities.

Connection Kit

Family friendly kit that helps a child in foster care begin creating healthy & healing family connections.

Family tradition, experience, movie night, game night, baking set, etc.
Assembled & ready to be enjoyed by children in foster care and the family caring for them.
Items need to be visible. A sturdy bag or clear wrap around basket is ok. Please no gift wrap.
Can be mailed or delivered to UFC headquarters in Murray, or any office around the state.
