Since 2005 the Foundation for Recovery has served as Nevada’s statewide Recovery Community Organization (RCO) supporting and advocating for people and families impacted by addiction and overdose.
Our philosophy is that those closest to the issue are closest to the solution. Which is why the majority of our staff, board, and volunteers who drive our mission are people with their own life experiences recovering from addiction and co-occurring disorders. Together, we shape programs and initiatives to support long-term recovery beyond moments of crisis and acute intervention within four dimensions of sustained recovery: Health, Home, Community, and Purpose.
