Kappa Delta Chi was recognized as an official organization at Texas Tech University on April 6,1987. This historic day is officially recognized as Kappa Delta Chi’s founding date and we want to celebrate! 

To recognize Founding Week this year we are hosting a virtual Stroll Competition to help raise money for the Emerald Foundation and give back to the Kappa Delta Chi chapter that wins the competition. The winning chapter will be the chapter that raises the most money. The winning chapter will be awarded a grant in the amount of 50% of the total dollars raised. You can vote with your dollars as many times as you want. 

Chapters- create a page, upload your stroll video, and start fundraising! It is easy, here’s how:

1. Click: Fundraise
2. Click: Edit Page and then name your team School Name, Chapter. For example, Texas Tech University, Alpha Chapter. Then, set a fundraising goal.
3. Click: Edit Story to upload your video. Video length 2 minute maximum.
4. To upload your video, you must have Video Embed Code or YouTube/Vimeo Link
5. Click the video icon, upload your video code or link
6. Click: Insert
7. Then you are ready to share your Chapter’s page to start fundraising.
8. Click: Share my page and share.

Stroll video guidelines:

1. Keep content to 2 minutes maximum. Videos can be shorter than 2 minutes.
2. No explicit language or music lyrics. Your content will be removed.
3. Please wear clothing aligned with our national etiquette policy.
4. Refrain from disparaging comments regarding other chapters and organizations.
5. Refrain from having drugs or alcohol in your uploaded videos.

The winning chapter will be announced on April 9th.
