Parents today are not equipped to deal with the mental health crisis affecting their children.

National research on child and teen mental health indicates that an estimated 49.5% of adolescents have a mental health disorder at some point in their lives and 1 in 6 children has a mental illness. (hhs.gov)

As a result of the mental health crisis, as well as the impact of the digital age, parents are left feeling isolated, overwhelmed, ineffective and ill equipped in their role.

Our Cofounder Nicole, found herself in this exact position: feeling lost and helpless as one of her children self destructed before her eyes. She felt like an under supported, and underutilized piece of the puzzle in terms of intervening with her daughter.

When her child stabilized, Nicole decided that she did not want any other parents to have to suffer alone during times of crisis. And it was from this conviction that One More Moment was born.

Over that last 2 years One More Moment has received tremendous community support and has morphed into a parent led support movement: offering FREE:

weekly support groups, one on one support and a non emergency hotline

parent training utilizing the award winning Parent Project Curriculum
Virtual and in person parent workshops
and mental health care: 8 free sessions with a licensed professional therapist.

We are proud to report that since our establishment in 2022 we have supported over 500 families!
