Free Program Fund

Community is the reason that Speak About It exists, and it is the reason why we are still around, and are entering our 15th year of shame-free, inclusive consent education. Today, we are inviting our community to help us safeguard our mission, and continue providing services that are so desperately needed. In the past few weeks, we have seen a concerning amount of executive orders and bills introduced that threaten the safety and freedoms of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals from marginalized identities, and numerous educational systems.  In the wave of executive orders and proposed legislation, crucial sex education and conversations around identity/power dynamics are directly and indirectly affected from multiple angles (we don't want to contribute to the deluge of information here but if you'd like a more detailed account of how this may influence sexual assault prevention and sex education, please reach out and we're happy to share more information).  

We not only expect this concerning trend to continue, but likely worsen over the coming months and years. In order to create a long term, sustainable solution to current and potential future cuts to funding, we are launching our Free Program Fund, a new initiative designed to build a financial safety net for our programs. This fund will help us provide free or reduced-cost programming to schools and communities, ensuring that we can continue to meet the needs of those who would otherwise be excluded due to financial constraints.
