Friends of KFSYSCC Campaign
Friends of KFSYSCC is launching a multi-year campaign to raise $92 million to fund four high-impact projects that will touch every stage of the cancer journey, from stopping disease before it starts to delivering state-of-the-art survivorship care.
-
Health Promotion Center
A purpose-built campus will pair early screening with lifestyle medicine, nutrition coaching, exercise prescription, and a data-driven mobile app, translating 35 years of KFSYSCC expertise into population-wide prevention. Goal: $13.8M
-
Palliative Care & Education Center
A 60-bed hospice with gardens, family suites, and a national training hub will ensure every Taiwanese patient can finish life with dignity while teaching teams across the country to deliver world-class supportive care.
Goal: $27.5M -
Molecular Medicine Research Center
Replacing a 37-year-old research tower, this center will house next-gen sequencers, a 50 000-sample biobank, ctDNA monitoring labs, a unified clinic-genome data platform, and a translational incubator that turns discoveries into precise therapies. Goal: $17.2M
-
Main Hospital Renovations
Phased upgrades will modernize wards, labs, and critical infrastructure—AI imaging, negative-pressure theatres, solar-assisted HVAC, and antimicrobial surfaces—preserving KFSYSCC’s 20 % survival advantage for the next generation. Goal: $34.5M
Why now?
Cancer has topped Taiwan’s mortality charts for 42 straight years, yet KFSYSCC patients already achieve a 76 % five-year survival rate—far above national and U.S. averages. With your partnership we can scale that excellence from individual patients to entire communities, pioneer precision medicine across Asia, and guarantee compassionate endings for every family.
