Friend of Varas is a US-based 501c3 non-profit that exists to support the work of VARAS (Volunteers for Amelioration of Rural Areas) in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa (at varas.org). 

Every penny raised and donated to Friends of Varas is immediately channeled to support and help our friends in Ghana strive for a better life.

VARAS provides opportunities for advanced education and trade skill training through Women and Girl's Empowerment/Apprenticeship Programs, the Impact Hub Academy, and other community initiatives. 

All donations to FoV are 100% tax-deductible.
