"Friends of VARAS" is a US-based 501c3 non-profit that exists to support the work of VARAS (Volunteers for Amelioration of Rural Areas) in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa. 

VARAS and "Friends of VARAS" work hand-in-hand, and all donations to "Friends of VARAS" are 100% tax-deductible.

Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting women and families in Ghana as they work toward a better life.

VARAS is based in Ghana and provides opportunities for advanced education and trade skill training through Women and Girl's Empowerment/Apprenticeship Programs, the Impact Hub Academy, and other community initiatives.
