Decker Studio

The Decker Recording Studio is a unique, distinguishing feature of the Franklin Lakes Public Library. Named for renowned local jazz musician Eddie Decker, the studio serves as a resource for students, teachers, and residents of any age. The studio provides opportunities for recording music, conducting podcasts, recording oral history and other initiatives, and provides an opportunity for patrons of all ages and backgrounds to learn from each other.

The Deck Recording Studio is one component of the Franklin Public Library's Renewal Project, the first significant renovation in over 20 years. The initiative reimagines the entire first floor of the Library. Your contribution benefits local residents of all ages, and helps bring together passionate individuals who share a love for learning and growth.
