We started Leveling the Fields because too many girls never get the chance to experience sports. Whether it’s cost, transportation, or simply not having programs available, thousands of girls miss out on the confidence, leadership skills, and friendships that come from being part of a team.

Our mission is simple: give girls the opportunity to play.

Through our after-school programs, we bring multi-sport experiences directly into schools — especially Title I schools — where girls can try sports like tennis, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, and more. Along the way, we also weave in lessons about confidence, leadership, and believing in themselves.

When you support Leveling the Fields, your donation directly helps make these programs possible. Contributions help us provide the things that remove barriers for girls and allow them to simply show up and play, including:

• Sports equipment and supplies for each program
• Coaching stipends and training for our coaches
• EmpowerPlay leadership journals for each participant
• Program t-shirts and water bottles for the girls
• Healthy snacks during practices
• Curriculum development and program resources

For many girls in our programs, this is their first experience ever playing a sport. It’s the first time they discover they’re strong, capable, and part of a team.

What started as an idea has quickly become something much bigger. We’re building a community of people who believe that every girl deserves a chance to step onto the field and discover what she’s capable of.
