Let's end 2023 with a BANG!!!

It's almost the end of 2023!!! Studies have shown that the three biggest days for giving are the last 3 days of the year. Help Hand Up To Victory close out 2023 with a BANG!

This year we have placed over 220 individuals in sober transitional housing! 70% of the individuals we placed received funding for 2 weeks' housing fees. 23 people received gift cards and vouchers for clothing. 16 received vouchers for replacement identification. We issued 38 prepaid cell phones with a months service. We gave out over 13,000lbs of food. We had 50 weekly recovery meetings where dinner was provided to all who attended. 197 individuals received peer to peer support, employment resources and guidance.

We hosted 10 events that allowed for us to show our clients that it is possible to have fun completely sober. The impact we have been able to make in the lives of these individuals is priceless. We are so grateful to be able to meet them at their "gift of desperation" and give them a hand up so they are able to find stability and longevity in recovery. When someone recovers it does so much for our community. Recovery reduces homelessness and crime locally... Children in states custody are being reunited with their parents. Families are being restored! JOIN THE RECOVERY MOVEMENT!!! We all have been touched or know a family touched by addiction. Our loved ones can recover!
