Fueling Futures: Transportation for WORKS Students

Access to opportunities often starts with something as simple as the ability to show up on time. For many of the at-risk individuals we serve in HomeAid San Diego’s WORKS Program, transportation is one of the biggest barriers to completing their training.

Without reliable transportation, even the most motivated participants can struggle to attend consistently and fully benefit from this program to rebuild their lives. That’s where you can make a difference.

WORKS is a vocational training and job readiness program that equips participants with hands on skills, financial literacy, and pathways to employment. Your contribution will directly support each student in overcoming their individual transportation barriers. These funds allow students to get to class, stay engaged, and successfully complete the WORKS program, while receiving access to job opportunities.

Every $25 donated helps a student take an essential step forward, showing up, building skills, and staying on track. And when students complete the program, they are better positioned to pursue stable employment and long term independence.

Help us get our students to WORKS so they can get to where they’re going next.
