Fuel the Fun, because #chathamkidsmatter

Every year, the Chatham County Partnership for Children hosts Day of the Books / El Día de los Libros, a celebration of literacy, the arts, early childhood education, and multiculturalism. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, children and families will enjoy live performances, music, arts and crafts, interactive activities, and, of course, FREE multicultural books.

To make the day even more special, families also receive a picnic lunch, ensuring kids are fueled and ready for all the fun. For the second year, we’re thrilled to partner with The Quiltmaker Café, a nonprofit dedicated to providing healthy meals to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Their support helps us feed every participant and make the festival accessible and joyful for all families.

Your donation to Fuel the Fun helps provide these meals, ensuring that every child can enjoy the day fully energized, and reminds our community that #chathamkidsmatter.
