TODAY, we’re hitting the road on a 7-week donation trip from Connecticut to the U.S.–Mexico border — delivering thousands of books, blankets, and comfort items to children and families in need.

We’re the founders of Books & Blankets: Donations for the Border, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to sharing warmth, hope, and compassion with immigrant and refugee communities. Along our route from New Orleans to San Diego, we’ll be stopping at shelters, community centers, and nonprofits to hand-deliver your donations directly into the hands of those who need them most.
