What started in the fall of 2016 with just a few bags of food and a burden for local kids has now become a mission we can't ignore. Since then, the Full Tummy Project has provided thousands of weekend meals to students in Monroe County and we’re just getting started.

Here’s why this matters so much:
1 in 4 children in Monroe County struggle with food insecurity
That means when the school week ends, many kids head into the weekend unsure if they’ll have anything to eat.

That’s not okay. Not on our watch.

Each week, with our team of volunteers, weekend meal bags are packed and discreetly placed into the backpacks of students who need a little extra help. No spotlight, no shame. Just love in action.

We’ve seen what a full tummy can do:
Confidence grows. Attendance improves. Smiles return.
Because when a child is fed, they can focus, learn, and feel cared for.

Full Tummy isn’t just about meeting a need ... it’s about serving hope.
It’s More Than A Meal.

That’s why we’re dreaming big with the dream to launch a mobile feeding program to reach even more kids when school is out during the summer and over long breaks.
