Fund-A-Need: Recess Equipment Refresh

Recess is where friendships grow, energy is released, and confidence is built. It’s one of the most joyful parts of the school day — and it belongs to every student.

This year, our Fund-A-Need will focus on refreshing and upgrading our recess equipment so students have safe, durable, and high-quality gear to play with every single day.

Our students play hard — and we love that! But that also means equipment wears out quickly. We’re looking to replace and upgrade with heavy-duty, longer-lasting items including:

4 tetherballs with rope attachments
Heavy-duty 4-square balls (medium red)
Heavy-duty big bounce balls
Heavy-duty kickballs
Footballs
Soccer balls
Outdoor volleyballs
New hula hoops
New jump ropes
A new set of flags for flag football/tag
At least two new helmets for our Striders

Because these items are used daily by all grade levels, durability is key. Investing in higher-quality equipment means safer play, fewer interruptions, and more joyful movement for everyone.

Our Goal: $2,500

We will purchase as much equipment as possible based on the funds raised. Every contribution directly supports recess for all students.
