I grew up in the projects in Brooklyn — the first in my family to make it out — and I spent years watching the people I love stay trapped in patterns that had no name.

I'm Dr. Jasmine Escalera, a spiritual neuroscientist, and the Institute for Generational Healing is everything I've been building toward: a place that finally gives YOU the language, the research, and the space to understand what you've inherited...and choose something different.

Most people are living cycles they didn’t choose.

Cycles that shape how they show up in their relationships, their work, and their sense of self.
How they overgive, overwork, stay silent, or carry everything on their own.

These cycles didn’t start with us. They are inherited.

Passed down through generations without language, without tools, without anyone ever asking where they came from.
But they don’t have to continue.

This is what generational healing makes possible.

Generational healing is the process of understanding what you’ve inherited, keeping what made you powerful, and releasing what no longer serves you or those who come after you.

We’re building what should have always been available to you.

Through research, education, and community-based experiences, the Institute is building a new model for healing that integrates science, lived experience, and cultural truth.

This knowledge exists.

But it hasn’t been accessible.
It hasn’t been visible.
And it hasn’t been built for the people who need it most.
