CuddleCots in Memory of Ruby and Jack Reid

On October 7, 2017, at 38.5 weeks pregnant, my husband and I went to the hospital because I hadn’t felt our daughter, Ruby, moving. She was born via emergency c-section a few hours later and due to unforeseen health issues, she passed away 2 days later. 

Ruby’s brother, Jack Thomas Reid, was born sleeping on May 31, 2019, at 32.1 weeks, and joined his sister in heaven. 

Because he was stillborn, our family was only able to spend a limited amount of time with him after his arrival. We are raising money to purchase and donate a CuddleCot systems to hospitals in Ga. A CuddleCot is a device that when laid underneath the surface of a crib, helps to cool and preserve the baby's body for two to three days longer. Our family is hoping to provide the gift of time that we did not have, to future families who also find themselves in this difficult position.
