Help LexHAB build our first ADU!

LexHAB is working to raise funds for our first affordable Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), which will cost $300,000. Our recent ‘HOME’ event raised $25,000. Would you help LexHAB raise the remaining $275,000 to reach our goal? Individual donations, employer matches, family foundation grants, donor advised funds- any of these options will help LexHAB construct its first ADU- one of the first income restricted ADUs in the State.

As a newly minted non-profit, LexHAB is launching an innovative initiative to add more affordable options by building ADUs on our properties. ADUs are small units built on the property of another home or inside an existing home. Thanks to a grant from the Affordable Housing Trust, LexHAB purchased a three-bedroom home. With your help, LexHAB will add a one-bedroom interior ADU by renovating the ground floor. This important project saves an older home that otherwise would have been torn down, transforms a single-family home into a two-family building, and adds two new units of deeply affordable housing to Lexington’s subsidized housing inventory.
