Trip fees cover the costs of hosting your group at our basecamp, and a portion is used to cover general operating expenses. The total budget for each house we build is about $15,000, which includes building materials, staff salaries, fuel, and more. These costs are not included in your trip fees. Instead, to cover these expenses we rely on separate one-time and monthly gifts. Some groups find it meaningful to contribute to cover these additional costs, and such gifts are greatly appreciated. Three separate teams will work on each house, so in addition to your trip fees, if your team is able to contribute an additional $5,000, you will fully fund your house project.
