Help ARISC survive federal grant cuts!

For almost two decades, the American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC) has been encouraging research in and about Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. By offering competitive fellowships and grants to scholars, ARISC has ensured continued expertise and rigorous scholarship in the region. Led by regional scholars, our workshops, conferences, and talks, are free and open to all. 

But as of October 1, 2025, our federal grants that provide funding for these programs are being terminated, meaning we're losing 67% of our regular income. This jeopardizes the very core of our work—fellowships, training workshops for U.S. faculty, and methodological training for scholars from the South Caucasus.
