Baby Faith

Hi, my name is Faith! My foster mommy named me that because she has faith in the veterinary community that they will be able to save my life. I am a very sweet little classic swirl tabby with little white socks! I am one of eight kittens born to a first time mommy! It was really crowded in there! I was also the first one born and there were some difficulties with my delivery. My left leg was stuck in the birth canal for over 30 minutes and popped the femur ball out of the joint! But that's not all that's wrong with me… Evidently I have a birth defect. And it's a pretty major one! Basically, my plumbing in my lower abdomen, (urinary and fecal plumbing) are not right! And I have to wear a diaper. I'm used to my foster mommy, cleaning my bottom several times a day and putting a diaper on me but I hope this is not a forever thing! I am also very prone to urinary tract infections because of this birth defect. Anyway, the vets at the University Of Florida medical school say that they can fix me or at least I hope they can! So we're gonna give it a try! But my foster mommy and 7WHSKRS cat rescue has to raise at least $7000 for the surgery. So we are putting it out there in hopes that there are wonderful and generous people who will help us raise the money so that I can have this life-saving event. Anything you can donate will help!
