Upon hearing the news of Gabrielle’s recurrent breast cancer diagnosis, many of you have reached out wanting to help. If you know Gabrielle, you know how much she LOVES and values homeschooling her kids. Unfortunately this is something that will be difficult to manage due to undergoing chemo therapy as she faces her 2nd battle with breast cancer.

As of right now she will have to go through a total of 6 rounds of chemo every 3 weeks. This is just the beginning of her prognosis but have been told that treatment plan will be more manageable as the cancer is confined to just one lymph-node.

The reason they chose the Abeka homeschool curriculum is because they offer teacher-led video lessons that will ensure the kids stay on course and Gabrielle can still participate in their education when feeling up to it. Thankfully, Grandma Denice will also be involved with helpful Gabrielle and the kids with the day to day tasks including homeschooling.
