I'm running the NYC Marathon this year--my first marathon--to raise funds in support of the Legal Aid Society, which protects and defends the rights of those in vulnerable communities who need legal support, regardless of who they are, where they come from, or how they identify, including advancing LGBTQ+ rights, fighting for racial equity, and standing with immigrants.
