Thank you very much for your gift to The Shadow Project. Because of you, Oregon and Washington students with learning challenges like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and trauma will receive the support they need to reach their full potential—both in and out of the classroom.

Early on in this school year, our students were already showing us they were going to outshine our expectations. Tanis, a 5th grader at Meadows Elementary, set a Shadow Project record for the quickest to achieve reading with frequency! Tanis read for 35 hours over 36 days before winter break—8 days more than his total reading days for the entire previous school year.

Not to be outdone, in just the first week of February, another Portland 5th grader read an astounding 1,165 pages! I am forever in awe of what students can do when they’re given the right supports for their needs, and someone who believes in them.

Thank you again for helping hundreds of students like Tanis discover that they are capable of learning. Your gift means more students like Tanis will get the help they need so they can stay engaged in learning, dream big, and succeed at whatever they put their minds to.
