Support the Hudgens: The Arts Live When You Give!
As we close out another incredible year of creativity, learning, and inspiring connection, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who makes our mission possible. The Hudgens Center has always been more than galleries or classrooms. The Hudgens is a gathering place where people of all ages and abilities experience the healing, transformative power of the arts. For so many of us, The Hudgens is our happy place.
But this year has presented unprecedented financial challenges for the arts. Rising operational and programming costs, compounded by decreases in individual charitable giving nationwide and diminished federal grant opportunities, mean that community support is more crucial than ever. Your gift at any level helps ensure that art in our community remains accessible, inclusive, inspiring, and alive.
Because of supporters like you, The Hudgens is able to:
- Provide free therapeutic arts programming for over 300 adults and children living with terminal illness, physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, unhoused individuals, and those navigating trauma.
- Offer low-cost arts education classes taught in multiple languages, serving more than 1,500 students each year.
- Host over 250 campers each summer through The Hudgens' engaging, low-cost arts education program.
- Provide nine months of free, weekly arts instruction, professional development, and mentoring to 25 low-income Gwinnett County high school students each year.
- Present 18 exhibitions annually in our galleries, enriching the lives of more than 24,000 visitors throughout our community.
- Create a welcoming space where creativity, self-expression, and learning thrive.
These programs matter. They build confidence. They provide relief from isolation. They offer a healthy outlet and release. They give families moments of joy, dignity, and pride. They change lives, quietly and profoundly.
Today, we are asking for your support to sustain this vital work.
Please consider making a tax-deductible year-end gift to The Hudgens Center for Art & Learning. Your generosity keeps classes affordable, exhibitions accessible, and therapeutic arts programs free for those who need them most.
Art uplifts. Art heals. Art matters - especially now. And your gift keeps art alive in our community.
Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping to create a place where creativity belongs to everyone. With your help, The Hudgens will continue to inspire, teach, and heal for years to come.
