Today we are launching a special campaign aimed at supporting six medical students from Gaza studying in Egypt. These aspiring doctors are at risk of having their studies interrupted due to financial difficulties. With nearly fifty years of impactful work, ASAI remains dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of education — fostering leaders, strengthening communities, and igniting hope for a brighter future.

A significant number of ASAI’s beneficiaries are Palestinian students from Gaza pursuing medical degrees—future healers who carry the hope of saving lives. A dedicated group currently studying at Zagazig University in Egypt now face a critical challenge. Their situation is twofold:

Tuition & Visa Status – If they cannot pay their overdue and upcoming semester fees, they risk losing their student visas. With Gaza’s borders closed, returning home is not an option, leaving them in an impossible situation.
Specialization & Training – Even after graduation, these students must complete their Imtiaz (the essential practical training year) to qualify as physicians. Without financial support, years of study— and their ability to practice medicine—will be lost.

Supporting them today means protecting four years of hard work, securing their future as doctors, and ensuring they can one day bring healing and hope to communities in desperate need.
