One year ago, the Jim Toy Community Center reopened a physical space in downtown Ann Arbor. It was a leap of faith, and the community responded. Since then, the Center has become a gathering place for connection, support, and belonging. Groups meet regularly. New programs are taking shape. Partnerships continue to grow.

As we look ahead to 2026, the question is not whether this work matters, but how much we can do next. Year-end gifts help expand open hours, strengthen operational capacity, and grow initiatives like the Career Hub and Organizing Hub. Simply put, our ability to grow in 2026 is limited by resources.
