In 2018, God placed a vision on founder Sheila Tomerlin's heart to create a sanctuary for women navigating cancer—a place where they could pause, breathe, and reclaim their strength. Mighty Waters was born in San Angelo, Texas, as a nonprofit dedicated to providing free weekend retreats for women courageously facing or recovering from cancer.
