General Giving Fund

Mlali Rehabilitation Centre cares for 75 children with physical disabilities in rural Tanzania, run by Capuchin friars for over 40 years. For more information, visit mlali.org.

Donations to the general fund go directly to the Centre's most urgent needs, as determined by our fundraising coordinator and Br. Gaudence, the Centre's director. It costs $4 a day to care for a child. Your gift may go to:

Current campaigns: Walking frames, wheelchairs, standing frames, clothing and shoes for the children.

Child sponsorship: Some families cannot afford treatment fees and the Centre treats them for free. $76 a month boards, feeds, and cares for a child. Currently, four children are in need of sponsorship, and their stories are on the site.

General operations: Food, staff salaries, medical supplies, and daily costs.

Urgent needs: Smaller, immediate concerns as they arise.

All donations are processed through our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor and are fully tax deductible. Receipts, photos, and updates are shared as funds are used.
