I have been engaging with the Busoga Region of Uganda since 2015, and in 2018, we started Empower Through Health. I am very proud to say that we have treated over 30,000 patients, hosted a productive global learning program that has involved hundreds of American and Ugandan students, and been engaged in novel research that could contribute to improvement of access to care across the world. 

This organization represents the best of us. We believe that all lives are equally valuable, and the global disparity in access to basic services and agency to determine one's destiny is abhorrent. I am proud to work with our committed team to make the world a more just place.
