Each year, GHNPSS provides over 22,000 meals to older adults age 60+ at The PEAK Center in Lansdale and Encore Experiences in Harleysville. Access to nutritionally balanced meals helps improve our seniors' diets and overall health; putting them at lower risk of food insecurity which can alleviate concerns related to aging and poor health. Our daily Congregate Meals are designed and approved by a Registered Dietician to follow PA Department of Aging nutritional guidelines. In addition, the socialization of eating in the congregate setting at one of our Senior Community Centers helps reduce isolation affecting older adults. We also see seniors who first access our Centers through the meal program expand their use of our Centers by joining exercise classes, game clubs, and connecting with the various social service resources we provide leading to overall improvement of their health and wellness. Best of all, these meals are offered free of charge with guests having the option of making a $2 donation. 

GHNPSS' cost per meal run on average of $5/meal. Your donation helps us continue to provide quality meals and grow our Congregate Meal program to benefit older adults in Montgomery County. Join us in providing a "Seat at the Table"!
