Help Me Empower Girls Through Sports at the Chicago Marathon 2025!

Hi, I’m Meghan, and I’m honored to be running the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon for Girls in the Game. This incredible organization empowers girls in Chicago through sports, helping them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and learn life lessons that will serve them for years to come.

Growing up in Naperville, outside of Chicago, I was fortunate to have access to amazing coaches, teams, and opportunities, all thanks to my parents. Through sports I learned valuable lessons of resilience, dedication, and confidence that have shaped who I am today. I want to make sure more girls in Chicago have these same opportunities, regardless of their circumstances.

Over the years, I’ve coached soccer, basketball, and track, working with girls of all ages. Seeing their confidence grow and their excitement for sport bloom has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Now, I’m taking my love for running and my passion for empowering girls to Chicago to support this vital cause.

Since moving to Edinburgh, running has become more special to me. I’ve loved running through the historic streets, discovering new corners of the city, and making friends along the way. Now, I’m ready to take on a new challenge in my home state on what will be the last day of my twenties!
